2018 AUGUST GALLERY CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The deadline for the 2018 August Gallery Show has been extended. We are looking for art inspired by Midwestern Literature. Please submit your proposal here.
In popular culture, the mere mention of the Midwest often conjures images of cornfields, cowtowns, and a plainness that does not depict the whole picture of an eclectic region. Wild Goose Creative is looking to select work that defies one definition of the Midwest, while honoring our place in the national imagination.
We are accepting complete works and proposals for new work.
SHE CREATES COLUMBUS
She Creates Columbus (SCC) is a pilot program of Wild Goose Creative to bring mentorship and career development to the next generation of creative women leaders in Columbus. Funded in partnership by the Create Columbus Commission, SCC will connect these women with resources, mentors in the arts and entrepreneurial communities in Columbus, community grant funders and audiences to foster business growth.
This is a casual figure drawing group for everyone (as long as you’re over 18) and costs $7 per night. Figure Drawing meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 7-9, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
A SPACE TO CREATE
Our multi-purpose space at 2491 Summit Street is sometimes a gallery, sometimes a school, a kitchen table, a living room, a concert hall, and a dance floor. It’s always a place for collaboration and artmaking. Learn how to reserve the space for your art-making reveries here.
Wild Goose Creative’s 501(c)(3) status allows us to apply for Federal, State, County and City grants on your behalf. Want to partner with Wild Goose Creative and get a grant? Email email@example.com
