Justin Johnston joins Wild Goose Creative as the organization's inaugural executive director. Prior to joining the Wild Goose team, he worked as a classically trained clarinetist, performing with the Chicago Symphony, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Toronto Symphony and for an all too brief eight weeks he lived in a castle by the sea as a Schleswig-Holstein Fellow.

Justin returned to Columbus in 2010 as a Distinguished University Fellow at The Ohio State University where he received the university's first Doctor of Musical Arts degree with a specialization in arts enterprise. Justin lives in Clintonville with his wife, Kerry, and their pets, Wellington and Kissy.

Heather Lynn Kyle, President

Heather Lynn Kyle is a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, with experience in galleries, non-profit and marketing. She is currently the Design Director for the Employee Experience team at JPMorgan Chase. Heather, a painter and performance artist, is the founder of Performance Art Day and has been spearheading Wild Art Columbus, our biannual fundraiser, for the past few years.

Alexis Perrone,  Vice President

Alexis Perrone is the Senior Visitor Service Manager for Experience Columbus. Previously she has been the marketing manager for Outlook Media and Columbus Alive. Alexis is the secretary for the Board of Directors for Independents’ Day. Additionally she is the creator of the Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse storytelling series and the coconspirator of the  Moby Dick in a Month literary event. She believes in the limitless potential for awesome that you can achieve in this city.

Patrick Katzenmeyer, Treasurer

Patrick Katzenmeyer is Director of Development for the Pizzuti Companies.  He also owns Market 65, a fast casual restaurant on Capitol Square specializing in locally-sourced food. Previous roles include Emerging Brands Director for Print Syndicate, Shops Director at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Policy Director for Obama for America and Special Assistant on Economic Development for Ted Strickland. Patrick has a BA in Finance and Economics from Ohio University and an MBA from The Ohio State University with a focus in Strategy.

Kris Howell, Secretary

Kris Howell is the CXO of Columbus Idea Foundry. He holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from Miami University of Ohio with an additional focus on poetry, philosophy, and etymology. His past work includes Facilities Manager at CoverMyMeds and contributing to the development of 400 W. Rich and Strongwater Food and Spirits. He was led to the neighborhood as the co-owner of ThoughtCo, a screenprinting and design company that focused on public interaction and artist collaboration. 

Jasmine Barfield, Grants Lead

Jasmine Barfield is the Founder and Owner of The Natural Hair Collective, a natural hair event planning company. With a personal mission to celebrate and nurture the authentic beauty in all women, she is currently the leader of the Columbus Naturalistas, a local, fun and fabulous group of women and men with natural hair. Jasmine studied at The Ohio State University and holds a BS in Business Psychology. She joined The Nine-Tenths Group in July 2015.

Dana Bernstein, Marketing & PR 

Dana Bernstein is a freelance copywriter, designer and social media strategist. Dana leads the social media and marketing initiatives for Wild Goose Creative and is the founder of  Wake & Shake. Previously, Dana co-founded and produced the craft show Crafts Gone Wild at Wild Goose from 2010-2013, and has been a member of the Stitch 'n Bitch knitting group at Wild Goose Creative. Dana received her BA in Philosophy from The Ohio State University.

Ryan Feeney, Curation Lead

Ryan Feeney is an artist with a terminal degree in Studio Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His experiences span education, interior design, graphic design, cultural and art curation and project management. Ryan is the Student Agency Manager at Columbus College of Art & Design and is the founder of WoodenTooth Handmade. 


Searius Addishin is an award-winning performance poet and author. Searius is the Creative Director for The Nine-Tenths Group (an arts-focused event planning company). He is the host of the monthly “Civilization: Youth Open Mic,” “The Art of Storytelling,” “Erotica,” and other performance showcases annually. His niche of combining intellect, transparency, and poetry has transitioned him into becoming a thought leader in poetry and hip hop communities nationwide. Searius is also a micro entrepreneur of both a printing company and resume design company.

Jessie Glover Boettcher, Curation

Jessie is a collaborative artist, crafter, teacher, and theatre scholar who loves Columbus and the people who make art at Wild Goose Creative. In addition to her roles on the Board of Directors, she co-curates the gallery series and works with community members to develop programs. Jessie holds a PhD in Theatre History from the University of Minnesota and teaches courses in theatre and community-based artmaking at Otterbein University and The Ohio State University. She also works with groups, using theatre tools to facilitate dialogue and new work development.

Graham Fisher, Marketing Lead

A graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design, Graham Fisher serves as Partner & Creative Director at CivitasNow, an experiential activation firm in Columbus, Ohio. He’s a strong advocate for the arts and an avid art collector. He sits on the Pizzuti Pacesetters Steering Committee and his work has been locally and nationally recognized, including a One Show Pencil and a National Addy award.

Stephanie Lynn, Marketing & PR

Stephanie Lynn is a Senior Copywriter for White Barn Candle Company. A graduate of the Ohio State University, Stephanie is a strategic thinker and creative writer who crafts compelling stories that persuade and inspire. Stephanie is always up for learning something new.
